Blue vase with spring flowers

We picked these beautiful flowers  and set them on a windowsill. The scene inspired me to paint it because the entire view was so enchanting. Staring out the window in summer at the lovely vista and gazing at the beauty of the fresh picked flowers embodies the happy mood of a bright summer day for me.
